  WIC cross-border e-commerce seminar held in Beijing

  On June 30, the WIC cross-border e-commerce seminar was held in Beijing. Nearly 40 representatives from cross-border e-commerce regulatory authorities in Hangzhou, member units engaged in cross-border e-commerce and international rule research such as Alibaba Group, Pinduoduo, Ant Group, JD.com, China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, as well as experts and scholars with solid research foundation and extensive international cooperation experience in the field of cross-border e-commerce, participated in the event to have in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics related to cross-border e-commerce.

  On July 5, a report on global digital economy research in 2023 was released at the main forum of the Global Digital Economy Conference 2023. The report shows that as of May 2023, over 60 percent of the world's 5G base stations are in China.
